if the spin is operating, ie the drum is turning, you might have a blockage in the drain pump or pipework. i had this not too long ago and found a sock in the drain pump behind the filter. the machine done a full cycle, but didnt spin.
if you tip the machine back (but not completely over) you should be able to get to the drain pipework. its usually connected to plastic pipes with spring clips. remove the piepwork a bit at a time and check it all out
