Hi Sam, after a dynamic interface between myself, alcohol and Ebay (at the time i thought nothing was impossible!) i have ended up buying a ASUS P5N32-E SLI AiLifestyle Motherboard Socket 775 and a ASUS GEFORCE 9500GT PCI-EXPRESS VIDEO CARD DVI VGA 1GB DDR2. Both are listed as faulty (Am still waiting for delivery). Im not a complete computer expert, but neither am i a novice. So i know its very wide question (not knowing what the problem is) but how difficult are these to repair? In terms of money/difficulty. Peace.

Hi Sam
I have an old compaq Armada m300 note book which I purchased for car diagnostics . the prob is it wont let windows format the drive it goes through all the usuall sequence of selecting partition to format etc which i have done on dozens of pc's but at the end of format it gives an error saying it cant format the drive , I Know its not the drive as I have placed it in a USB Caddy and formatted that way, so why wont the note book do it. ?
ps its a 6gb drive

I think the Filter facility of Excel will do this for you...

Create a dummy spreadsheet - put in half a dozen different names in one column with corresponding different numbers against each name in the next column.

Put a dummy name at the top with a zero against it (don't know why) select the whole block of names and numbers and select Auto Filter from the Data Tab.

All you need do is to click on the down arrow of the column you wish to rearrange - the corresponding columns move in concert with the change on a row by row basis.

it depends what version of exel you using usualy on my one if im adding somthink up i type = and then click on a number you want to add then put a + then click on the other number you wish to add and just press enter for example =d7+d8 and just press enter and you should get an answer EXAMPLE ONLY. if you want the names to move up aswell it depends on what exell your using (e.g Microsoft excell 2007) it all depends on the year hope that helps.

Hi Sam, I have a chart in excel for football and I can add the points to the chart every week and sort the total column in the acsending/decending order but what formula do I need to enter so that it not only puts the highest score at the top, but also moves the person's name as well? Thanks
