Lights have gone off Thomson tv DTR dt16300 ?

Thomson tv DTR dt16300 DTR definately ok AM 4th May.Switched DTR to standby (red light) then light went off.Now don't have any lights on at all but power on as I can hear fan working Have changed batteries in handset,unplugged DTR etc per manual instructions.
I notice others had probs same day but all had lights which I don't have.
