How can I fix the Dryer on my Whirlpool AWG995 Washer/Dryer?

On my Whirlpool AWG995 Washer/Dryer, the dryer function does not work. The machine tumbles but it doesn't get hot. It occasionally gets warm but is mainly cold. I am assuming there is some sort of thermostat or temparature overload control but don't know what to look for. Can this be reset or replaced?

Many thanks

Thanks Tony. Yes there appear to be two thermostats, one on the side and another on top.

The one on top does have a red button on it but it had not tripped and so couldn't be pushed back down. In which case is it most likley that this thermostat doesn't work and I should replace it or are there are any other common reasons I should look for as to why the dryer doesn't reach full heat.

Thanks again,

William
