Renaul Clio Radio Code?

After a Flat Battery I am unable to input the radio code.
Can you tell me the sequence.
i have input the code numbers but what is the control to do the final entry ?
It is a 1999 Renault Clio RT

if it like mine then using buttons1to5 e.i code 2222 then press 1twice then press2 twice then3 twice then 4 twice then press 5 once may work
