I have the above freeview box and it is currently running v.3.59 after a reset. The reset seemed to work ok however, I now have no sound at all.

Checked all sockets and all fine, bypass check on TV and normal terestrial channels have sound.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Answering my own fault. After performing a full reset and discovering the sound was missing, it appears that the update that TUTV have issued in the last week disables the sound functionality within the Scart connections.

TUTV help staff are not helpful at all and go through a set list and will not take any responsibility and state that you would need to purchase a new receiver!!

The solution, replace the scart with S-Video cable and all works well.

switch it off at the wall and leave for 5min then switch it on.hopefully this will reset it and volume will return.if using a scart lead check the pins and connections at both ends
