Formating Internal Memory on a SD or SDHC?

My Pup somehow got a hold of my SD Memory Card and you can see her little teeth marks, where she has set and chewed on it, but there is not too many teeth marks actually very little, but I guess enough to where it can't be read (Obviously). So I put the SD Memory Card in my Camera and It displays: (On The Camera With My SD Memory Card Inserted) *Memory Card Can Not Be Read*: (Please Format Memory Card or Insert Another Memory Card). So I started looking through my Kodak Easy Share (CD1013) booklet (To find out what that means?) and I also found this stating: *CAUTION* Formatting Internal Memory or an SD or SDHC card deletes all (Including Protected) pictures/videos. (Formatting Internal memory also deletes email addresses, tag names, and favorites.) So in other words, Does that mean "ITS HISTORY", as in GARBAGE? Or is there anyway I could take it to Walmart, and try to see if any Pics could be saved? I know I had over 700 Pics on it I am pretty sure, and another Question please, When I purchased the Camera, I payed for a certain amount, on a Warranty (Not sure on How long the Warranty is?), But My question is "Would My SD Memory Card Have Anything To Do With My Warranty By Chance? I mean could it cover it? Or is there anything that I could possibly do to try to have it read or maybe save some of my Pics? Please let me know something, Thank You Very Much, Sincerely, Mrs. Jennifer G. Isaacs!
