How do I adjust the carborator on my Ryobi string trimmer?
I have an SS30 Ryobi String Trimmer and having trouble with keeping the motor running. The owner's manual troubleshooting section mentions my problem' but just says take it to a service center to adjust carborator. I'm a handy type of guy and I'm sure I can adjust the carborator if I had insturctions. Anyone know of a source for carborator adjustment instructions. Thanks

The Ryobi SS30 requires a special tool for Carb Adjust. If you look at the adjustment screws they are round and slotted on the sides of the screws. I removed my Carb and cut a screwdriver adjustment slot into the two carb adjustment screws. Did this with a Drummel high speed nut cutter. I was able to adjust mine with a screw driver. Check the internet for small engine Carb adjustments. You should be able to make it from here.
