NSM Prestige 160 ES II?

My husband and I just picked up a NSM Prestige 160 Jukebox last night. When we looked at it in the gentleman’s garage it played perfectly – sound could be adjusted, etc. Trucked it home and put in our home and now the volume is very low and the volume controls do nothing to change the volume.

We checked some connections and I did push on a red connection on the board connected to the record player and this did increase the sound.

Also there are two black cables on the left side that come out of a silver box one with a red connector and one with a black connector that are not connected to anything. We didn’t see where they might go.

The silver box the on left side has codes and “9” is lit up which according to the silver box means “Clear Jam”.

We took all the records out and looked things over but didn’t see a “jam”????

My husband should be writing this because he knows the terms of the stuff better than I but I thought I would give it a try. I hope you can understand what I mean.

This is our first jukebox so we know nothing.

did you fix your problem yet ? I have 2 of these jukeboxes. I even have videos on youtube of them. one is under nsm prestige alice in chains & the other under nsm prestige john lennon. I would say to wiggle the boards in the amplifer section. or in may be loose connection at the volume sliding part. Take that apart & check it out too.
