My Ripcord Broke on my Recliner, How do I Fix it?

My ripcord on my microsuede recliner ripped off. I pulley head is no longer attached and frayed off. How would I attempt to fix it, so it will recline in the future? Is there another way to release it also?

From the back near the bottom you'll find the cable, follow it to the release latch. It's a bit of a pain, but you can reach it from the seat while sitting down
