how to get a drill bit out of a keyless chuck?

Hi, can you help please? My less than 2 year old Black & Decker KR110 will not release the drill bit. I have tried everything, but it will not let go. any ideas please?

This happened to me recently and i bought one of those boa tools for releasing plastic pipes under sinks etc, wrap the rubber belt around the chuck then turn and hey presto!

If that doesn't work, put between forward and reverse to lock, cover with thick cloth and grip between large mole wrench, pipe wrench or vice jaws then try to turn but don't force too much in case you break shaft only in desperate measures. You could try wd40 spray round the shaft first to penetrate leave half hour then try

Can be awkward, but usually I set the drill to reverse, grip the chuck by hand, and pull the trigger!
