Fisher & Paykel washing m/c smart drive xcellence 5.5 will do all the washing sequences until spin then it goes no further and there is just a buzzing sound if something wants to go but can't (possibly the pump) it does not empty the washing water.
Can anyone suggest what might be wrong.

Pump is blocked. That is what is making the buzzing sound. Do not leave it buzzing too long as it will eventually overheat & maybe damage the pump. Machine will not spin or advance any further until all the water has drained out. Unblock the pump & your problem will be solved.
