how can i find a battery pull with the keys off?

I had my battery, starter and alternator tested and all tested good but once i get my 92 chevy half ton started with cables it runs fine and will restart unless i let it sit for more than 20 minutes then i have to start the whole thing over again by using cables.. iv tried to check all my wires including the ones on my starter and all my connections seem to be fine but i still have a drain somewhere i just cant find it

A drain as big as this one usually points to an alternator fault...as well as generating electricity, an alternator has electronic 'valves' built into it that prevents the drain back of power from the battery. These things are called diodes and they are found in the rectifier pack. Try this? Once switching off your car, remove one of the battery leads. If the battery holds its charge when you come to fire up again, then I guess thats it....if the battery has still run down then its internally goosed.
