Water collects in the bottom of my Kenmore top freezer fridge?

How do I stop water from pooling in the bottom of my Kenmore top freezer fridge? I saw a drop of water behind the light on the ceiling. Is there a drain that can be reached there?

Hello,

Your defrost drain is probably plugged up. You did not mention a model number but you'll have to hunt for the drain hole. It could be in the upper back part of the refrigerator or in the freezer somewhere. Once you find it blast it out with hot water from a turkey baister until thr ice desolves in the pan under the fridg.
