my sprotcraft TX400 treadmill worked for 6seconds. I put in all the settings and it started working but stopped after 6 seconds. The panel went blank except for the calorie counter which had the number 3 displayed. It kept happening after several tries.

can anyone post a pic of the hair like protusion.. i am not sure i understand where this is or how to go about it.. if some one can add a pic for the step by step ins.. it will be a great help..i got a second hand one and sad it doesnot work. I sawthe below answer provided by margie..

can you send some pics for this step by step help:

"I removed the plastic bottom (near the motor). The sensor is this tiny, hairlike protusion (very flimsy) at the end of this plastic square sticking out towards the pulley wheel. The hairlike protusion was not pointed toward the pulley wheel magnet. "

This is real hard for me. I tried all the possibilities, but failed to fix it. I have problem pretty much similar to Resa.
