after i had a message saying critical battery,when i plug in laptop the battery led doesnt light up but when its connected to my printer it lights up and eventually goes green, ive bought a new battery pack but led still doesnt light up ,i dont know what the problem is

Darren, a little more info please; make model and age of the notebook. Did the battery ever charge correctly? Can you think of an event that happened to the notebook right before it stopped working? While the light on the battery is not coming on, does the indicator in the sys tray (those icons by the clock) show the battery charging?
