how can ifix my samsung laptop?

the power point inside the laptop has got hot and the adapter now does not fit properly i have to wiggle it about and tape it up to get it to power up can it be fixed by solder or do i need another motherboard?

i want to fix it myself. however i can't open samsung laptop.
i have removed all the screws and there is still something left that holds it together. what it si?

Had a similar problem with a laptop many months back. I do PC repairs but don't go down to components and soldering as I'm no electrical engineer. Seemed a shame to waste my lappy so I took it to my local TV repairman who fixed it up with a bit of solder (I let him diagnose what to do with it and that was his solution).

Still working fine now - cost £15. :-)

Wiggling, heat and play are not good and may result in arcing which can do untold damage and may even be a danger to you too - get this sorted soon as you can!
