veneer problem?

I need an independant inspection of a dining table I bought 13 months ago. The veneer has come off in a small area. The company I bought it from have not accepted responsibility. They say it looks like something has been spilt on it but this is not true.
I want to take them to a "Small claims court".

Forget small claims court. Even if you win, you still can't collect if the defendant refuses to make good; for that, you'll have to bring suit, an expensive and time-consuming process. You're better off trying your local TV or newspaper consumer advocate. Most companies don't want the negative publicity.

It would be cheaper to get Laminate Solutions to repair it and then claim the money back from the company
