Sky box malfunction?

My Grundig Sky box will not come out of standby - the red light is flashing on and off.

Skys universal answer to problems like this is:-
Unplug the box from the mains and wait at least 2 minutes then replace the plug and wait for the box to start up. Make sure you have pressed the SKY button on your remote then press the 'on' button.
