Slow filling toilet - diaphragm valve?

I have a fairly new WC (B&Q approx 3 years old) with a plastic inlet valve which has a rubber diaphragm instead of a hard rubber washer. The valve is now very slow to fill, taking about 30 minutes. I have had the diaphragm out and have spotted a tiny split in it - is this enough to cause the problem?
Also my local DIY store doesn't stock these diaphragms, are they easy to source?

I have just found exactly the same problem with my diaphragm valve, also a B&Q toilet, approx three years old. B&Q gave me the phone number for the toilet manufacturers and fingers crossed they are sending me a new valve through the post in the nex to few days. It's crazy though how no plumbing suppliers stock the appropriate valve! It has made me think twice about buying big products from B&Q again.

Take the whole flushing assembly to a good plumbers merchants and ask them for a suitable replacement. they are not very expensive.
