Sime boiler heating only at approx 40 degrees?

I had larger diameter gas pipes to gas meter put in for a new kitchen stove & now although dial on full temp is 40 and it takes all day to heat house. Visible flame is quite low. If I need to bleed how do I proceed or something else?

I would guess from what you say that the new gas pipe arrangement is restricting the gas supply to your boiler.

Here's a link to some boiler engineers arguing about it...

Call in a heating engineer and have him measure the gas pressure at the boiler.
