renault laguna 1.8 16v petrol. high revs?

hi all, hope u can help me, i have a 2000 (x reg) petrol laguna it flags up a yellow warning light, a rectangle box with zig zag lines through it. then it revs itself between 2 and 3 thousand revs. just had a new throttle sensor fitted and still doing it. can anyone help please? any ideas?

Hi mate got same problem take the plug off the grey sensor at front of inlet manifold top front it will run fine but you will need to replace before winter hope this will help

join the gang my friend, all through the winter months my 1.8 laguna was fine but now the sun has returned the high revs have. Nobody seems to know what the problem is,even at renault. It,s a lovely car but for this fault
