Hi All, looking for a little help on a small repair on my Zanussi FL1082 Washing Machine

The tags on the Green cam & White knob (Program Timer) that fits into it broke, so knobs were just spinning,

Now we have the replacement green cam for the timer control, and I am not sute what i need to do to replace it

Any ideas ????

I made the mistake of thinking the inner control knob only had to align with the wide cog at the rear. In fact the 2 extending arms at the back of the knob have slots which also align with 2 ridges which lock it to the programme bezel. They will only go one way. A bit late since the enquiry was in 2004 but hope it helps someone else.
