How can I change the bulb in an AEG Micromat 143 E/U?

I have an AEG Micromat 143 E/U microwave and the internal bulb has blown. There's no obvious way of accessing the bulb, indeed it's not even clear to me exactly where it is located. Is it possible to change the bulb myself without calling in a repair engineer?

Hi Jonathon, yes you can easily change the lamp in almost any microwave however you need to exercise caution as microwaves even unplugged from the mains can still pose a lethal threat. The job requires removal of the outer casing to access the mounting for the lamp. Contact details are on microwave-repairs.co.uk for more specific advice if required
