I bought a LG home theatre from an auction sold as seen, everything seems ok click the dvd mode and it shows up dvd/vhs on the screen. Put a DVD on and it goes black for a second then says eject and ejects the dvd.

Is it a region thing? does it just need a clean or is it more serious
