can a frequently used....deadbolt installed in a door, loosen up on its own?

I recently installed a deadbolt in my tenants door because she was accusing others of going into her room and taking things she own's.
I gave her both of the keys for the lock after she watched me open the secure packaging.
She now is saying that her lock is now suddenly loose and she now believes her lock is being removed for entry, even though the two screws are on her side...
So, I know the answer to this question...but please acknowledge it for me.
Can a deadbolt become loose on its own because of frequent use?

if yuo fitted it right it should last for years
