put a screw in 22mm copper pipe under the floorboards?

i accidently burst a 22mm copper pipe ,when i was screwing down some floorboards,1 screw has burst the pipe ,when i try to remove the screw it gushes out like mad.

Only one compression fitting is required, just cut the pipe where the hole is and insert the fitting.

It certainly will....the only cure is to drain the system down and insert a new length of 22mm pipe, complete with 2 compression straight couplers.
