how can i fix the loss of power to focus zetec55?

Yellow symbol appears to the right of dashboard and sometimes flashes also car is spluttering in most gears when you accelerate

Probably the coil pack....have it diagnosed professionally as the catalytic converter can be damaged if this is allowed to continue.
