One minute it was playing a DVD fine, during a journey last week, and then, after a break, when we wanted to continue the DVD it came up on the screen with the message 'wrong region'. Ever since, it keeps coming with the same message, although I am playing the same DVDs as before and I know they are ok. Tevion was of no help and neither their insurance company as it is out of warranty. Anybody there who may have had a similar problem? I would be grateful for any insight please. We are about to do a few long trips and the kids are not very happy to travel without any entertainment. I heard there are certain programs that unlock the DVD players from being able to play DVDs just from one region only. Anybody knows any such websites? Many thanks for your help.

i have a portable tevion twin screen dvd player 2009 date of purchase.
played about 6 dvd's and now it won't read anything.
it just keeps spinning all the time.
i tried to get into it at the back-took the 6 screws out and could not take the back off.
anyone have any ideas on how to get into the back
and also re align the lens that i think is the problem.

just Google it and it comes up,
this is what I found.

1) Open the DVD door, on the remote press setup, right, right, right (that's the arrows in the middle of the remote)
2) Enter 9653, a service page will appear.
3) Use up/down to change region codes.
4) Set to 0 (zero) for multi - region.
