Schneider 2802. Won't power up, rapid clicking noise from the rear, easy?

Machine died while in use, now will not power up. All that occurs is a rapid clicking noise from the rear of the unit. Is this a transformer problem, and is it easliy replaced.
Rimbeux, September 2004
To many possibilities Rimbeux. TV will trip if the power supply goes overvoltage, to protect itself. Could be line transformer but could as easliy be line transistor or a hundred other causes. Transformers are easy to replace but costly.
