How do you stop the umbrella squeaking in the wind?
It is one of the larger ones with the crank handle to raise & lower, but even with a gentle breeze it sways & creaks like mad.
It’s creaking because it’s rocking from side to side. I fixed mine by adding a bungy cord in one corner and strapping it straight down to one of our end tables. Fixed it.
