How can I mend my toilet?

Hi
My toilet has been blocking regular now since we bought the house.
I have paid for a jet to clear the foul pipe but it returns some months later.
I think the problem is that my toilet has no stench pipe as it is a ground floor bathroom and built some years ago on top of original outhouse.
would it be that the stench pipe provides oxgen so the flushed toilet can travel down the pipe at force rather than just falling down the foul pipe.
It sounds plausible and am running out patience and do not want to spend more money getting Dyno-Rod out if this will only re-occur time and time again.
Any suggestions greatly received.

Thanks for your help John,
I will look at installing a copper inlet to the foul pipe or something similar.
Kind Regards
Steve

Not unless you can tee into the loo outfall and add a piece of pipe to it, Steve.....just flush the loo every time you pass it - unless you're on a water meter!

Thanks
Are there any products that I can use to add air to the flow?

You are correct in that the stench pipe allows air in behind the water which allows for better drainage, but the problem could be due to incorrect fall of the soil pipe, roots etc building up inside the pipe or even not enough water being supplied from the flush due to a low cistern level or water conserving brick inside....a plumbers worst nightmare is the use of really thick loo paper (charmin springs to mind), sanitary towels and tampons being flushed down or worse still, the disposable nappy.....only put down the loo what you've eaten first is the golden rule!
