Makes the job even worse, old son - but there must be an inspection chamber somewhere! It could be worth getting someone to shove a camera up the drain to look for any physical obstruction...its really up to you. Recently I found a tennis ball stuck in a drain to a septic tank - a child had put it down the loo. I felt like doing the same to him....!
