how do i mend it so it will flush?

my toilet wont flush.it seems to have no pressure although the tank is full.it will let out some water but its as if it has no life.I have tried to replace the flush handle but to no avail please can you help

darrens answer is vague. who knows what a syphon is.
take the top off to see what is going on. make sure the
plug is staying open long enough to allow complete
entry of the water into flush , replacing a handle does nothing to effect internal operation. try holding handle
down until flush is complete ,all the water should empty
into outlet. to fix a problem you must observe the operation of the unit, and then determine what is needed
to remedy it.
