I have same fridge - freezer is working fine, fridge is not working at all! How are they completely separate from each other? how can I check what is the problem?

hi my lg fridge has totally stopped cooling, there is power to the fridge and the lights work inside so mite it be the compressor as it seams not to be working.also if it is the compressor, where would i be able to buy another 1, cheers gaz
