I have this item on my end and it's not working properly. When I put this machine in reverse it runs, but when its switch back to auto it stops. (not feeding) I just recently oiled the blades and no change. Is there a way to trouble shoot the problem.

I have a Privacy Guard PS-029/MB and have the same challenge. This is what I've determined...so far:
Check the plastic drive gears for the shredder blades.
Unplug the machine. turn it upside down and remove the screws from the bottom case.
Remove the bottom case and inspect the drive gears ...
Some "Genius" engineer decided plastic would be better than metal gears, for whatever reason...
Both of my drive gears are broken in half and cannot be glued or epoxied (Tried that).
Currently searching for replacement parts.
