Beko D2731FW Dishwasher: Changing the themostats?

Hello,

My timer stops moving at certain points on my dishwasher and I think it has something to do with not heating up the water in the base anymore. I have checked the heating element with a multimeter and it seems ok. It gives a reading of 28.5 ohms. So it could be something to do with a thermistor.

I took one out from the back which is pretty much underneath the heating element in the base. I measured the resistance, which gave me 1. Then heated the thermistor up by putting it in a bag and dropping it in a mug of hot water and measured the resistance again. This also gave a value of 1. Does this sound like the root of my problem and need replacing?

I couldn't actually see any other thermostats in the machine? Anyone know where these are?

Many Thanks
