There will probably be a wall socket - is it good?
There will be a plug - are the wires properly connected?
The plug may be fused - is the fuse good?
The power cable may be damaged - check it.
The may be an on/off switch - does it work?
There may be a temperature control thermostat - has it failed open circuit?
There might be an over temperature thermal fuse (somehow I doubt it) - is there one & has it failed?
You say the element is good - how do you know this?
Is all the internal wiring properly connected?

A handy aid is a relatively cheap mains-tester screwdriver with a neon in the handle.

Take care....
