wharfedale DVDR24HD160F - no clock display?

machine is stuck in standby with no clock display, only blue standby light shows. all 5 volt and 12 volt supplies are present. does anyone have any ideas?

I understand that this fault is due to a faulty capacitor, in that Wharfedale used 85C capacitors when they should have used 105C. Which capacitor(s) in particular are causing the problem I have yet to determine.

No help unfortunately, mine has just done the same (seems a common fault by googling but no solutions yet) - have started to investigate the obvious 5v, 12v and 3v3 all there, have tried unplugging various elements to but still no joy - have you had any luck?
