Our central heating system has a clanking noise (kettling) between our disabled son's bedroom radiator and the pipe to our radiator. Distance 5-6 yards. I have poured various noise reducers into the system, which work for a short while, but what other way of reducing the noise is there bar a £600 British Gas full flush out of the system please.

you could drain down the system drop the rads wash them out then refill using system cleaner, maybe repeat and fill with inhibitor .
but is the pipework correctly mounted?
