DISCONNECT the machine from the mains and REMOVE the plug. Empty the machine of any water, by removing the filter door and allow it to drain. Once both of the above are done, tilt the machine back on it's rear feet and place a block or some other sturdy item under it for safety prior to work.
The pump is the unit on the underside and to the front of the machine, close to the rear of the filter. Usually 4 small bolts/screws keep it in place, loosen these and the pump should hang down on two flexi-pipes. These pipes have compression rings holding the pipes to the unit and can be removed/loosened by using a pair of pliers to squeeze the ends together and pulling the clips away from the area where the pipes attach to the pump.
BEFORE removing the electric connections, make a note where they attach to the pump for refitting of new unit. These connections are simply pulled off the pump and it will be free.
Reverse the procedure for refitting.
Good Luck.....
