i need to operate two lights from 2 different switches?

i have a kitchen where i need to put in 2 switches for two lights, 1s in the main kitchen area and 1 is in a cupboard area but i need to install 2 switches 1 near back door and 1 near the lounge, so i can operate the lights from 1 end the room then turn it off at other end if needed
