My Bosch wff1201 washing machine will not drain of water i think that the filter my be blocked. Can you tel me where it is onm the machine so that i can try to unblock myself?

Mine would not drain or spin.the problem was with the grey hose from the pump all the way back to the sink waste. turn off water supply and mains switch. empty machine first by the small black tube at the pump, may need to unblock first.once filter is removed, switch power on and timer to spin and see if the impeller is turning.if so pump is working and grey hose may be blocked. remove hose back to sink and rod through and wash out with the garden hose.machine will only spin if the pump has removed some water first.Works fine now.

If you remove the front 'skirting board' panel (across the bottom), then pull out the short 'appendix' drain tube. Unplug the drain pipe and drain into a low flat baking tray. (you will get a few tray fulls out).
Then once drained open the front of the pump. Its on the left, and you will see a white plastic thing begging to be unscrewed, and will probably find coins etc. in here.

I've just done this myself, but the machine still wasn't emptying so bought a new pump (Just the motor bit= £28) and it still didn't work (only a dribble in the drain outside), and found the real problem was that the outlet pipe was blocked where it goes through the wall. So I probably didn't need a pump afterall.

If you do need a pump, remove the old one (2 screws and two pipes and 2 wires) by tilting the machine backwards.

the filter should be on the left side front behind the plastic panel on the bottom.remove the cover then u will see a round cover unscrew this (water will leak out) cover and check for hair clipps of other rebbish in there.
