broke tower not sure where?

i have accidently pulled a few coloured wires out of my computer tower, not good with the insides of the tower, all i know is that it could be some part on the motherboard.. and its connected to the on/off button on the tower.
the wires have black square sockets on the end, with white writing saying power, reset, led and the other ones abit scratched off so im not sure..
the wires plug into a little micro chip on the board and im not even sure which pin to plug them back into, as it doesnt say..
if any one can give me any help at all ill be very grateful :)

hi sarah. Look very carefully at the motherboard you may need to get a magnifying glass as the text on the mainboard is very fine. look around the outside you will see little pins sticking up like small nails, study really hard you will read something like pson for power, HD led for hard drive light, I think reset will usually say reset. I often had to fiddle to find them myself and I have connected the wrong ones to the incorrect pins before but have never done any damage to my system. Oh just touch a steel surface before you go delving in as a static shock off your body can damage internal components
