I was watching a movie on tape today when the screen suddenly went into total static with perfect sound. I know nothing's wrong with the VCR setup, it was working minutes before, but now no matter what tape I put in, it shows the same static, with good audio. What do I do?

the heads need cleaning the safest way to do it is to use a head cleaning tape, only use one when the picture is poor NOT REGULARLY.
