when i call for hot water the boiler wont fire,the pump,exhuast fan and motorised valve all operate as normal. ive removed the outer and inner cover to expose the burner and it will fire up as normal but when i replace the covers it wont fire again. any ideas anyone please?

sounds like you have a blocked ventrue Get the boiler service and that should do it

Blocked Flue,, check the air inlet, faulty APS etc

However both of these suggestions should be carried out by an RGI only
