I had the same problem with my Fisher & Paykel 'Nautilus' dishwasher. In addition to the error code, the unit would overfill and run onto the floor. After checking all electrical connections (behind the front kick-panel), I reluctantly bought and fitted a new control panel. That solved the problem.

Many different models of F&P dishwashers, many different error codes. What model number do you have? Should be on a label just inside the door opening.
