My Fisher and Paykel 5.5 smart drive pride, wont turn on?

One day I went to turn the washing machine on and it failed to start at all. Could this be a fuse? I have been searching for a fuse but have not been able to locate it, probably means that there is no such thing.

Jenna, post your problem as a seperate posting. Let me know what your model number is as it may have a different power set up.

We have the same problem with our Fisher and Paykel 5.5 Smart Drive - we've checked the plug and it's fine - when we turn the power on none of the lights turn on

Ok I assume that you have checked the power point is working. So either the drain pump or the control module has failed. The drain pump is part of the power supply circuit to the panel. First check wiring plug is correctly inserted into drain pump. If you have a test meter then check pump windings, should be approx. 31.5ohms. If you can beg or borrow a drain pump that is known to be working ok then swap it with yours. If drain pump is ok then the main controller will be at fault. There is a fuse on the PCB inside but it is soldered to the board and not easily obtained by the average DIY person. You will also need to check every part of machine for any reason the fuse failed before replacing the controller.

Yes, there are no lights whatsoever when it is connected to the wall. The model no. is MW059NZ.

Cheers.

Please give more details. When you say it wont turn on, do you mean it wont start or is there no lights on the panel at all? What is the model number on the back panel?
