i have a jcb 530 teleporter which has lost 2 & 4 gears but only in reverse any suggestions on what could be causing this the jcb is a 530 70 147

check rev high solenoid or rev high clutch pack failure
on the gear box bellhousing on the left there are three banks of solenoids left fwd h/l middle layshaft/mainshaft right rev h/l
just try changing the wires around on the rev sol top to bottom check to see if 2nd rev works if so electrics ok (1st 3rd should'nt work) change your back again check pressures on clutch packs
