Yes of course, you can take out the screen and use a sharp knife to get inbetween the touch screen glass and the metal behind and move the knife all around and then desolder the ribbon - then replace.
or you can remove the metal frame the touch screen in stuck to and replace that.
or replace the whole screen
parts???? look on ebay for them or maybe a faulty unit to act as a donor.
